I graduated from Marinello's School of Hair Design in 1981.
Shortly after I moved to Texas and worked as a stylist then was promoted to assistant manager for Edie Adams Cut and Curl. I moved to back to Ohio and started with Cincinnati Hair Design on Hyde Park Square in 1982 .
For the next two years I went through intense training and worked my way through the company . I started assisting then worked as a stylist and finally I was promoted to assistant manager where I was in charge of training new stylists.
In 1984 I was offered a franchise in Fairfield, where I worked for eight years building the business, managing and training as well as maintaining my own clientele. In the fall of 1992 I left the company to become an independent stylist back in Hyde Park .
I worked at Ty's Hyde Park Salon for the next 2 1/2 years . In December 1994 I moved to Jennifer's Hair Salon right on the Square where I continued to grow my clientele for the next 13 years .
Jennifer sold the salon to a new stylist in the salon and changed the name to the Christopher Marcus Salon. After six months I decided to make the change to the Total Eclipse Salon on Mount Lookout Square where I spent the next four years . In October 2011 I decided to become an independent salon owner at Salon Concepts in Oakley . This gave me the flexibility and control to service all of my clients needs .
When I first decided to become a stylist I wanted to do something that made people feel good about themselves and in return it makes me feel good about what I do . I have always been goal oriented and throughout the years I have achieved most of my goals . I truly enjoy coming into the salon every day and look forward to many more years .
I have always enjoyed all aspects of hair design from cuts and perms to color and extensions. I am always open for new clients and new experiences . As of 2014 I am a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating .
